WBTA Charitable Giving Committee
2009
The WBTA Charitable Giving Committee continued its efforts in 2009 by supporting several Ronald McDonald Houses across the state with $1,300 worth of donations!
- Jesse Funk (Carey of Wisconsin) presented the Fox Valley RMH with a Nintendo WII game system in October. We are sure this will bring a lot of smiles to this house! See picture below.

- Also in October, Emily Wright (Flad) and Robert Zimmerman (Hilton Monona Terrace) donated food to the Madison RMH! See picture below.

- Lastly, Jenn Houdyshell (Sheraton Brookfield), Andrew Aschenbrenner (AirTran Airways) and Don Draves (MillerCoors) represented WBTA at the Milwaukee RMH as we contributed 36 luggage racks - one for each room! See picture below.

2008
The Charitable Giving Committee made two contributions during October 2008 on behalf of the association.
The Charitable Giving Committee consists of Laura Lane (American Express), Michelle Lee (NWA/Delta), Andrew Aschenbrenner (Midwest Airlines) and Committee Chair Don Draves (MillerCoors).

Wisconsin Chapter of the American Red Cross
The first donation ($1,000) was presented to the American Red Cross – Wisconsin. Wisconsin Red Cross CEO Tracy Sparrow graciously accepted the donation and thanked the association for the generous donation. The Milwaukee American Red Cross unit has assisted the area flood and storm victims in our own back yard, and they have sent Milwaukee teams out of state to assist with hurricane and other storm relief. Ronald McDonald House
The second donation of 30 DVD players was made to the Ronald McDonald House of Milwaukee. Pam Buckley, Executive Director and Marilyn Brenner, House Director were both ecstatic when we started bringing the DVD players into the house! The house has 38 rooms for the kids and their families, and the kids had to check out the few DVD players they had and take them to their room. Now each room will have their own DVD player. The house opened its doors over 24 years ago. Since 1984, over 28,000 families from 568 Wisconsin communities, 48 states and 26 foreign countries have called the Milwaukee Ronald McDonald house their short term home.
